The 2011 AC-1 series is a purification of the last 4 years’ racing program.

The completely new developed range delivers so much more of all the good stuff that has made this winning sail series appreciated by a wide range of windsurfers, whether being a competitor at top PWA level or a local blasting at his home spot.

Boasting multiple design changes; a new straighter luff curve, resulting in less structural tension combined with a wider mast sleeve, deeper profile and a completely new camber design, allows the perfect rotation of the sail body through the gybes. With the reduction in structural tension, reinforcements could be eliminated and lighter materials utilised resulting in a substantial reduction in overall sail weight.

The new leech outline allows loading of the sail in a way that creates a wider range of use whilst improving overall speed and control. No more need for excessive use of power, the sail will do the work for you. In light winds the leech remains closed generating low-end power for early planing and as the wind increases the new batten thickness shaping allows for an S-shaping under load to release the wind from the trailing edge of the sail faster and more efficiently; the result being not only more comfort and control but the possibility of mind-blowing acceleration and speed.
